To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Program Manager.

 

 

Your mission at Fusion will focus on ensuring that the InnoPeaks startup accelerator program runs smoothly and is of high value to its different stakeholders (the Corporate Client, Startups and Mentors). As part of the InnoPeaks team at Fusion – led by our head of program – you will be actively involved in two main areas:

 

Program delivery & operations: experienced with innovation platform / startup accelerator logistics and event planning. The three pillars of the program are facilitating go-to-market, fundraising, and human energy (boosting entrepreneurs' energy levels) - delivered through content & activities. A willingness to learn, put your sleeves up and tackling new problems is a must. The Program Manager both executes the InnoPeaks playbook, contributes to program enhancements, and delivers the best possible experience for founders and the corporate partner.

Knowledge & network: facilitating the assimilation of best practices across program modules by entrepreneurs (relevant to their startup's growth & well-being), and facilitating the learning from mentors & experts. Familiarity with the early stage venture backed company ecosystem is preferred, as is a network within the healthcare sector (startups, healthcare professionals, corporate).

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

  • Partner with program head to develop program plan, and then own the overall responsibility for the successful execution of the program.
  • Ensure program is following best practices and executing upon outlined content and curriculum of the InnoPeaks playbook and delivering the best possible experience.
  • Own the overall logistics and programming of the program, including calendar management (mentors, speakers, and events). 
  • Develop and track quality, operational execution and customer success metrics.
  • Represent InnoPeaks / relationship management for InnoPeaks’ local and global network, including coordinating scheduling with the InnoPeaks’s mentors, startups, investor and corporate leads.
  • Plan, structure & document results of InnoPeaks’s workshops with the corporate partner.
  • Engage with founders, mentors, and investors to ensure the successful execution of programs.
  • During the scouting & research phase, plan and structure execution of startup scouting and solution seeking activity together with the head of program and Fusion's venture scouting team.
  • Get in touch with Startups and ensure follow-up on their applications to take part in InnoPeaks in support of venture scouting activities.
  • Work on strategic initiatives such as national and international roadshows; develop meaningful and beneficial relationships across the InnoPeaks ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on business operations, project or program management;
  • Availability to work in Sion / Martigny (Valais) from time to time, intensively (3-4 day / week) between October and January;
  • Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital;
  • Experience (whether startup or corporate) in the healthcare sector is ideal but not mandatory;
  • Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience;
  • Experience in event planning and event logistics;
  • Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities – we're lean so we all have to roll up our sleeves! 
  • Comfortable with a minimal amount of direction but high expectations.
